Resources for Today. Solutions for Tomorrow.
MCC Group N.V. is a U.S.-owned international natural resources, energy and infrastructure group. Its current operating core is MCC Petroleum and Scaltech International, supported by balanced growth platforms in mining, petroleum rehabilitation, refining, hydrocarbon recovery, environmental technologies, commodity trading and ESG investments.
2 Oilfields

Global footprint across resource markets.
MCC Group has owned, operated, managed, developed or invested in projects and facilities across multiple jurisdictions.
Mining and strategic minerals.
MCC Group's mining heritage comes from AMAX, then one of the world's largest diversified mining companies with additional investments in oil and gas, and from founders with senior experience at Flick, ThyssenKrupp, Booz Allen and Goldman Sachs.
From AMAX heritage to Latin American mining.
The Group's mining experience includes El Mochito in Honduras, Minera Mariposa in Mexico, Leyden Rock Products in the United States and Pincock, Allen & Holt, which MCC expanded into an international mining advisory firm.
At its peak, the Group owned and operated six producing mines involving gold, silver, lead, zinc and industrial minerals. Today, MCC Group owns a gold and diamond exploration project in Venezuela and is pursuing strategic minerals opportunities through its affiliation with MHM Group and High-Tech Mining.
Oil, Gas and Petroleum Projects
MCC Group’s oil and gas project experience is presented through selected operating experience in Guatemala and Venezuela.
Block A1-2006 – Guatemala
MCC Group participated in the A1-2006 Block in the Northern Peten Basin, including technical studies, 3D seismic interpretation, exploration planning and drilling related to the Ocultun-1 discovery and the block’s oil, gas and condensate potential.
Corocoro – Venezuela
MCC Group funded and participated in offshore oilfield activities connected to the Corocoro project, including operational support interfaces with Stalco and Petrosucre under the Alianza Contract framework.
Corocoro – Offshore Production Support
The Group’s Venezuela offshore experience includes marine production support and field infrastructure interfaces connected to Corocoro oilfield development and operations.
EPC Contracting & Energy Infrastructure
MCC Group provides EPC and EPCM services for upstream, midstream and downstream energy infrastructure projects, including pipeline, tank farm and process unit construction, early production facilities and modular/mini refineries.
Pipelines
Pipeline construction, installation and related field execution capability for upstream and midstream infrastructure.
Tank Farms
Construction and installation of tank farms, crude storage facilities and associated oil tank depots.
Process Units
Process unit construction and operation support, including early production facilities and modular/mini refineries.

Proprietary recovery technologies.
Through Scaltech International, MCC Group has pioneered technologies to recover hydrocarbons from refinery sludges, tank bottoms, off-spec crude, drill cuttings and petroleum waste streams.
Centrifuge Recovery
High-speed three-phase centrifuge systems for sludge processing, off-spec oil dewatering and crude recovery.
Thermal Desorption
Vacuum thermal desorption technologies for drill cuttings, oil-contaminated soil and industrial waste treatment.
Solvent Extraction
New solvent extraction centrifuge technology for bitumen and asphalt tar lake recovery projects.
Scaltech Azerbaijan Operations
Balakhani/Baku activities include oil recovery, oily sludge processing, residuals handling and practical field execution through Scaltech Azerbaijan.
Acid Tar & Bitumen Recovery
Azerbaijan and tar lake opportunities include conversion of residual asphaltic material and acid tar into bitumen, recovered oil and cement-compatible recovered solids.
Vacuum & Solvent Systems
Technology development includes vacuum thermal processing, centrifuge separation and solvent extraction concepts for difficult hydrocarbon residuals and asphaltic waste streams.
KOC Research and Innovation Program
MCC Group participates in technology development initiatives associated with Kuwait Oil Company's major research and innovation program. Through NESR, MCC has been contracted to develop advanced technologies for sludge handling, oil recovery, sludge recycling, waste minimization and environmental remediation.
Bitumen Production from Residual Resources
MCC Group has been preselected by SOCAR and Trinidad Lake Asphalt for bitumen production from residual asphaltic and tar lake resources. The initiative targets approximately 60,000 tonnes per year over an anticipated 20-year period, using MCC's newly developed solvent extraction centrifuge recovery technology.
International energy trading and strategic corridors.
Through MCC Petroleum, the Group trades crude oil, fuel products, LPG, bitumen and refined petroleum products in support of EPC, BOOT, refinery, infrastructure and financing activities.
Crude & Products
Trading platform covering crude oil, fuel oil, gasoil, LPG, propane, butane, bitumen and refined products.
Basrah Medium Mandate
Long-term crude oil marketing mandate covering up to six million barrels per month of Basrah Medium crude oil over a six-year period.
Iraq–Mediterranean Corridor
Participation in planning, financing and execution strategy for trucking and a future 54-inch export pipeline route to Mediterranean markets.
Soudieh Crude Marketing
MCC Petroleum supports proposed Soudieh crude marketing and export structures, including interim crude sales, long-term offtake, storage and rehabilitation-linked pre-export finance.
Brownfield Finance Linked to Offtake
Trading activities may be combined with advance payment, sovereign or project guarantees, amortization through crude deliveries and contractor-led rehabilitation services.
ESG and circular economy initiatives.
Auxilium Carbon DMCC is MCC Group's environmental markets and circular economy platform. The ESG section now highlights the Group's actual Azerbaijan plastic waste collection and recycling project rather than generic ESG imagery.
Grouped Plastic Collection and Recycling in Baku
The project collects and mechanically recycles post-consumer PET bottles and PE plastic wrapping waste generated in Azerbaijan. Operations are carried out through two project activity instances: Poly Cleaner LLC for rPET flakes and Chameleon Group LLC for recycled PE pellets.
The project supports plastic waste diversion, circular economy infrastructure, transparent chain-of-custody systems, Plastic Waste Collection Credits and Plastic Waste Recycling Credits under the Verra Plastic Waste Reduction Standard.
Environmental Impact
Collection and recycling of PET and PE waste reduces landfill disposal, unmanaged plastic leakage, demand for virgin plastic raw materials and supports Azerbaijan's transition toward circular economy infrastructure.
Operating Platform
Project facilities operate in the Balakhani Industrial Park / Tamiz Shahar area in Baku and receive plastic waste from Baku, Ganja, Gadabay, Mingachevir, Goygol, Zagatala, Yevlakh and the Absheron Peninsula.
Social Contribution
The project supports formal and informal collectors, aggregators, transport providers, recycling employees and local manufacturing customers that use recycled PET flakes and recycled PE pellets.
