Mining and strategic minerals.

MCC Group's mining heritage comes from AMAX, then one of the world's largest diversified mining companies with additional investments in oil and gas, and from founders with senior experience at Flick, ThyssenKrupp, Booz Allen and Goldman Sachs.

From AMAX heritage to Latin American mining.

The Group's mining experience includes El Mochito in Honduras, Minera Mariposa in Mexico, Leyden Rock Products in the United States and Pincock, Allen & Holt, which MCC expanded into an international mining advisory firm.

At its peak, the Group owned and operated six producing mines involving gold, silver, lead, zinc and industrial minerals. Today, MCC Group owns a gold and diamond exploration project in Venezuela and is pursuing strategic minerals opportunities through its affiliation with MHM Group and High-Tech Mining.

ESG and circular economy initiatives.

Auxilium Carbon DMCC is MCC Group's environmental markets and circular economy platform. The ESG section now highlights the Group's actual Azerbaijan plastic waste collection and recycling project rather than generic ESG imagery.

Grouped Plastic Collection and Recycling in Baku

The project collects and mechanically recycles post-consumer PET bottles and PE plastic wrapping waste generated in Azerbaijan. Operations are carried out through two project activity instances: Poly Cleaner LLC for rPET flakes and Chameleon Group LLC for recycled PE pellets.

The project supports plastic waste diversion, circular economy infrastructure, transparent chain-of-custody systems, Plastic Waste Collection Credits and Plastic Waste Recycling Credits under the Verra Plastic Waste Reduction Standard.

Baled post-consumer PET bottles at the Azerbaijan recycling project
6,842 t Net plastic waste collected through Dec. 2025
5,911 t Net plastic waste recycled through Dec. 2025
37,874 t Estimated collection during first 7 years
30,155 t Estimated recycling during first 7 years

Environmental Impact

Collection and recycling of PET and PE waste reduces landfill disposal, unmanaged plastic leakage, demand for virgin plastic raw materials and supports Azerbaijan's transition toward circular economy infrastructure.

Operating Platform

Project facilities operate in the Balakhani Industrial Park / Tamiz Shahar area in Baku and receive plastic waste from Baku, Ganja, Gadabay, Mingachevir, Goygol, Zagatala, Yevlakh and the Absheron Peninsula.

Social Contribution

The project supports formal and informal collectors, aggregators, transport providers, recycling employees and local manufacturing customers that use recycled PET flakes and recycled PE pellets.
